We are seeking an experienced Operating Unit IT Lead for our facility located in Anderson, SC.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Operating Unit IT Leader provides business value delivery; quality of services and IT products; and customer satisfaction for one or more of First Quality’s Divisional Operating Units.
As an Operating Unit IT Leader in our First Quality IT group, you will work closely within the assigned business to align technology requirements with business initiatives. The Operating Unit IT Leader is responsible for understanding the business needs, assist in the prioritization of projects, ensure that projects align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investment, and direct IT strategy in support of the overall business strategy. You will also be responsible to ensure that technology initiative requests by business clients are serviced throughout the project governance lifecycle. You will serve as the lead communicator with assigned operating units with respect to technology initiatives, requirements, and escalation.
As a key resource for customer satisfaction, an Operating Unit IT Leader assists with local, divisional, and enterprise incident management support; and assists the local End User Technicians with IT requests as needed.
Experience Required:
- 7 plus years of progressive IT experience.
- General knowledge of all IT disciplines and technology platforms.
- Strong manufacturing environment experience with demonstrated project and process management skill set.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability and desire to engage with business functions of the Enterprise to understand and articulate the business requirements as well as the IT capabilities and requirements.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to work within a 24/7 environment across multiple time zones.
