First Resources Corp of Sigourney is hiring Direct Support Professionals at the Mackey (high needs) site home. If you have CNA, LPN, or Med Aid experience this opportunity might be for you. We offer competitive rates (based on experience and certifications) as well as $3 weekend shift differential.
Full-time Opportunity: 38-40 hours a week.
Job Summary:
Responsible for following the Person Center Service Plan (PCSP), documenting program
results and communicating with their immediate supervisor about any progress, concerns,
etc. Must be able to work a flexible schedule and fill in hours as needed. This position entails
a high degree of accountability and consequence of error. Ability to stay in close and timely
communication with others is crucial.
Essential Job Functions:
-Assisting clients with daily needs, such as: Grocery shopping, Running errands, participating in community activities, Personal hygiene and cares, med administration, two person transfers, the use of a hoyer.
-Working with multiple individuals a day assisting with goals like: cooking, cleaning, community integration, and coping skills.
-Take clients to appointments as necessary.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 year of DSP or CNA experience is not required, but preferred. Thorough training will be provided during your employment to excel at this position! Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record and show proof of auto insurance.
