Job Title: Part time Seamstress/Tailor
Reports to: Jennifer Hood
Division: First Responder Outfitters, formerly Frank's Uniforms
Work Schedule: Part Time as needed. 0-15 hours
Company Description:
Part-time seamstress needed to help with daily alternations and sewing projects. Hours will vary as needed. Shop hours are 9-5 Monday through Friday and no weekends.
Job Description:
Will assist main seamstress on daily work projects.
Core Accountabilities: Eye for detail.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of blind stitch machines.
- Experience sewing patches on jackets and shirts.
- Completing simple alternations such as cutting for pants and taking in sides of shirts, jackets etc.
- Knowledge on how to taper shirt sleeves and pants.
- Experience in shortening jacket sleeves.
- Knowledge of how to measure inseam on pants.
- Sew on buttons and zippers
- Knowledge on using an industrial sewing machine and serger machine.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 15 per week
