We are on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Emporia Virginia.
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator skilled in operating bulldozers and excavators. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fine grading with a bulldozer, planning filling operations, and establishing and maintaining roads. This role requires precision, efficiency, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate bulldozers and excavators to perform fine grading, excavation, and material placement efficiently.
- Plan and execute filling operations to ensure proper compaction and stability.
- Establish and maintain roads, ensuring proper drainage and durability.
- Interpret site plans, grade stakes, and survey markers to execute work accurately.
- Monitor equipment performance and conduct routine inspections and maintenance.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, truck drivers, and other crew members.
- Adjust grading based on site conditions, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
