What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Installer position at First Response Solar?
This position is for a solar installer, who has construction experience and preferably experience with solar, electrical or roofing, however, we are willing to train. We are looking for an individual that is eager to learn, driven, wants to grow, and take on responsibility in our company. We are a family-owned company and operate in Sonoma County. You will be working directly with one of the owners of the company who holds a C-10 (Electrical) and C-46 (Solar) contractors license. You will be learning the full process of solar installations from the roof work to wiring solar and batteries, as you develop more skills.
A installer is responsible for all work related to solar systems and overseeing that quality work and safety is maintained at all times. We are looking for someone who can take direction and execute the work without supervision. This person will be responsible for understanding how to layout a system, layout cabling, installed all material per manufacturer specifications, and run conduit.

Compensation:
- $20-$40/ hour (depending on experience and skill level).
- Phone Reimbursement: $30/month
