Personal Banker

Job Overview
As a Personal Banker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their banking needs. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, understanding their financial goals, and offering tailored solutions that meet those needs. This position requires a keen understanding of financial services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to identify their banking needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Process transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan applications.
• Utilize cash register and 10 key typing skills to manage financial transactions efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using customer relationship management systems.
• Assist customers with loan origination processes and provide information on various financial products.
• Educate clients on bank services, including debits and credits, to enhance their banking experience.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets while ensuring compliance with banking regulations.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in financial services or banking is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on relationship building.
• Proficient in basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with sales techniques and the ability to promote bank products effectively.
• Knowledge of loan origination processes is a plus.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in the banking industry.
