Supervises and schedules the work of all tellers at their location to ensure efficient teller operation during business hours. Provides guidance to tellers in complex customer transactions, balancing cash, and meeting customer needs. Performs teller duties and trains new tellers. Keeps informed of changes in bank services and procedures. Maintains proper cash limits for the branch while staying within set guidelines.
- Exercises daily supervision over tellers and assures that appropriate audit controls are observed.
- Provides on-the-job training for tellers on an as-needed basis. Monitors tellers to ensure compliance with financial institution procedures and policies.
- Assists tellers in locating cash discrepancies, managing unusual window transactions, and answers difficult customer questions. Assists in the resolution of particularly sensitive or complex problems.
- Controls access to safety deposit boxes and maintaining records.
- Performs a variety of customer service transactions, such as holds, stop payment orders and check verification.
- Processes and assists teller with completing CTR’s and SAR’s properly and promptly, as needed.
- Maintains reports documenting teller outages, balances, time cards, etc.
- Introduces and cross-sells new services to customers as appropriate.
- Practice Sales and Service Performance Standards.
- Is responsible for the vault cash on a daily basis, including Fed orders and shipments.
- Performs all normal teller duties on a daily basis.
- Responsible for being compliant with all regulations and compliance requirements pertaining to job function.
- Perform duties of Personal Banker, as needed.

- Carries out other duties as may be assigned or requested.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of in-house training program or other approved training program.
- 1 year of previous teller experience preferred.
- Good interpersonal and supervisory skills, as well as good standard office equipment skills.
- Must display good attendance, dependability, and punctuality.
