Job Summary:
The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator supports the development and implementation of comprehensive safety and environmental programs that meet regulatory requirements and promote a culture of excellence within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with HS&E Program Development: Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety and environmental programs that address all aspects of employee health and safety.
- Support Regulatory Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to environmental health and safety.
- Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
- Maintain Records and Metrics: Assist in developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our safety and environmental programs.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with plant leadership, safety professionals, and other stakeholders to develop and implement safety and environmental initiatives that drive results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as occupational safety, environmental science, or engineering.
- 2 Years Experience: 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong background in occupational safety, environmental, or science-related fields.
- Advanced Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn and use various software applications.
- Additional Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
