Position Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment. In this role, you will oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring that all machinery functions efficiently to support uninterrupted manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct Maintenance team members in equipment repair and upkeep
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, ISO, and company safety policies
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including preventive maintenance schedules
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules to support production goals
- Communicate equipment status and project updates to supervisors, managers, and engineers
- Implement cost-saving strategies and improve efficiency in maintenance operations
- Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and company policies
- Support predictive maintenance initiatives using modern technologies and data analysis
Required:
- Bachelor's degree 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing OR
- Associate degree 6 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work 2nd shift (1:30 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday-Friday) with weekend overtime as needed
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Preferred:
- 5-7 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance
- Experience in project and budget management
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment maintenance in a manufacturing facility
