Job Summary:
The Safety and Environmental Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective safety and environmental programs that meet regulatory requirements and promote a culture of excellence within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs that address all aspects of employee health and safety, including training, emergency response, and incident investigation.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on changing regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to environmental health and safety.
- Lead and Collaborate: Work closely with plant leadership, safety professionals, and other stakeholders to develop and implement safety and environmental initiatives that drive results.
- Maintain Records and Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our safety and environmental programs.
- Support Training and Development: Collaborate with training professionals to design and deliver training programs that support employee development and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as occupational safety, environmental science, or engineering.
- 3 Years Experience: 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong background in occupational safety, environmental, or science-related fields.
- Advanced Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn and use various software applications.
- Additional Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
