SUMMARY: Performs mid-level accounting duties
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews and posts all invoices for institution; obtains proper approval signature from managers, prepares checks/ACH to pay vendors, and tracks all invoices monthly.
- Daily processing of ACH and Check exceptions, returns, and adjustments.
- Manage all corporate credit card payments; obtains expense reimbursement forms with proper approval signature, posts expenses, and balance clearing GL and DDA account.
- Reconciles multiple general ledger accounts, including cashier’s checks and money orders for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Research and respond timely to related contacts sent to the department via e-mail or any other mode of communication. Stays in contact with other departments and/or outside agencies to resolve issues that arise.
- Prepares reports and correspondence as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Financial Institution experience is strongly preferred.
- Some college is preferred.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Proficient on database software, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
