Summary
Under the supervision of the Chief Compliance Officer, responsible for the daily execution of duties to ensure compliance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act and Regulation B implements the Equal Credit Opportunity Act.
HOURS OF AVAILABILITY: Regularly Scheduled Hours/Week: 40 hours | Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm|*Extended working hours may be required.

- Candidate must be at a minimum, 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- HMDA reporting compliance experience preferred.
- Associates degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Adhere to strict privacy regarding customer account information. Maintain customer confidence and protect bank operations by keeping information confidential.
- Provide customers with exceptional customer service and execute operational excellence by; greeting every customer with a smile, maintaining eye contact, calling them by name, staying connected in conversation and letting them know they are appreciated.
- Maintain a high level of integrity by understanding Bank's policy and procedures and ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and state/federal laws.
- Ability to articulate effectively with customers and bank employees by answering questions in person, on the telephone, or via electronic communication, and refer customers to other bank services as necessary.
- Ability to discuss complex and sometimes sensitive subjects with clarity and tact.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, objective and professional when presented with difficult situations. Capable of dealing with bank service center and customer related queries and bringing issues to satisfactory conclusions.
- Maintain knowledge of products, programs, operations, systems, and controls, and applicable compliance regulations as related to job duties. Work closely with the Compliance Department to ensure notices are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Review and log all bank loans and applications that did not result in origination, to determine HMDA applicability.
- Ensure accurate information is collected and entered into the Loan Operating System for each covered loan/application.
- Test mortgage data to ensure accuracy in the reporting for the secondary market applications.
- Daily input and issuance of notices required by Regulation B.
- Required to gain regulatory knowledge including but not limited to: all federal and state consumer protections laws, privacy, safeguarding customer information, Regulation B, Equal Credit Opportunity, related Fair Lending Laws, Community Reinvestment Act, HMDA, flood regulations, and any other policies related to HMDA and Reg B.
- Operate computer, telephone, keyboard scanner and copier. Computer skills that include strong knowledge in MS Office, typing, 10-key and the internet. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel is preferred Proficiency with internal bank software and NTruPoint Software will be required.
- Collaborate and gather documents and information requested by internal, external, and regulatory auditor and authorities related to an audit, examination, or inquiry.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with Bank personnel for the completion of required file documentation.
- Maintain and ensure desk is properly stocked with supplies and marketing items. Maintain equipment for printer and additional bank office devices.
- Must be able to arrive at work on time, work on site and work cooperatively with other co-workers. Therefore, reliable transportation and the ability to travel to work-related events is required.
- Complete all online compliance Teal Training courses timely.
- Work location and/or additional duties may be assigned or required by management.
