Summary
Under direct supervision and guidance of the assigned manager, provide frontline support on balancing issues and ensure adherence to operations, schedule, and processing requirements. Maintain detailed records of all work and report any known violation of compliance policies, laws, or regulations, as well as any suspicious customer or account activity to the department manager. This position requires employees to work on-site.

- High School Diploma or GED will be required at the completion of your graduating year.
- 1-2 years post-secondary education and/or customer service, relevant banking, or professional experience is preferred.
- Item Processing and Bankway experience is preferred.
- Willingness to demonstrate Core 5 values with customers and coworkers.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Remain knowledgeable of relevant policies and procedures to ensure all actions performed are compliant with governmental regulations and state/federal laws. Routinely utilize best practices and problem-solving techniques while executing item processing duties.
- Preform various transactional quality control actions to address balancing issues, the handling of branch bundles, and to identify possible transactional concerns.
- Open, extract, sort, and process remittance payment for customers.
- Accurately input data to include date, payee, and signature on client in a timely manner.
- Receives, verifies, and processes reviews for Mobile Deposit Capture and ATM deposits.
- Visually verify and remove deposit exceptions.
- Monitor system reports.
- Manually enter required information from unreadable images.
- Confirm receipt of branch courier bags, sort and distribute mail, and ensure postal pick up and all mail is delivered to USPS daily.
- Assess accuracy of risk ratings, provide detailed findings, and recommend appropriate action.
- Ensure any departmental activities or concerns are clearly and timely reported to management.
- Adhere to strict privacy regarding customer account information. Maintain customer confidence and protect bank operations by keeping information confidential.
- Operate computer equipment, telephone, scanner, and copier. Basic computer skills including knowledge of MS Outlook, typing, 10-key and the internet is required. Proficiency with internal bank software, MS Word, Excel, Vision IP, and ImageCentre will be required.
- Must be able to arrive to work on time, work on-site and work cooperatively with other coworkers. Therefore, having access to reliable transportation is required. Willingness to extend working hours when necessary to accommodate the completion of varied tasks.
