Summary
This position serves as the face of the Bank and will be the first point of contact for our customers. Reflecting a positive image to our customers and playing a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. Welcoming visitors, answering phones, and referring inquiries to the appropriate staff members. This position requires employees to work on-site.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
HOURS OF AVAILABILITY: Regularly scheduled hours/week: 40 hours | Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 5:00 pm | *Extended working hours may be required.

The employee must have the ability to hear and articulate well enough to carry on a normal conversation, both in person and over telecommunications. EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) will be required at the completion of your graduating year.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a customer service-oriented attitude is required.
- Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, typing, 10-key and utilization of the internet is required.
- Willingness to demonstrate Core 5 values with customers and coworkers.
- Greet customers entering the lobby and determine the nature of business. Escort and introduce visitors to the appropriate staff member, as needed.
- Ensure the front doors are properly locked/unlocked in a timely manner while adhering to established opening/closing procedures.
- Log service clients in required logbook.
- Provide customers with basic banking transactions including transferring funds and making tickets when necessary.
- Articulate effectively with customers by answering questions and referring customers to other bank services as necessary.
- Ensure messages are timely delivered and phone calls are transfered to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
- Actively promote bank services and products and refer customers to the appropriate department for items that cannot be resolved by retail staff.
- Order, receive, and maintain office supplies.
- Maintain a calendar to include employee birthdays, bank events, and vacations.
- Send birthday and/or special occasion cards to customers.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality to maintain customer confidence and protection of bank operations.
- Able to operate computer software and equipment, telephone, scanner, and copier. Expected to become proficient with internal bank software.
- Able to hold a valid driver's license, have access to reliable transportation for arriving to work on time, work on-site at assigned location, and a willingness to extend working hours when necessary.
- Additional duties may be assigned by management.
