This role is crucial in evaluating, authorizing, and approving loan applications for both individuals and businesses. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing government guarantee loan applications and closing document packages in accordance with bank loan policies, government guarantee loan programs, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborating closely with government guarantee agencies to meet and exceed our customers' lending requests while ensuring adherence to credit quality standards, compliance rules, and loan program requirements.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on government loan programs, providing guidance to internal teams on program requirements and compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
- High School diploma or GED
- Computer literacy with high proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of web-based technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Service-oriented skill set
- A passion for serving the public
Preferred but Not Required:
- Previous Banking Experience
- Residency within 30 miles of Mountain View or willingness to relocate
- College degree in related field
- Prior experience in loan operations, loan processing, or credit administration for a bank or credit union
