What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping Coordinator / Customer Service Specialist position at First Services Inc?
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and fulfill online orders and manual orders received via email
- Order management including but not limited to: order entry, modification, PT allocations, RAs, and etc.
- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations with warehouse and carriers, and provide correct instructions and support
- Oversee warehouse performance and ensure same day shipping for orders/PTs sent before 4pm EST; oversee returns
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of blank orders and decoration orders
- Work closely with accounting dept. on payment collection
- Work with sales team and contractor on domestic decoration order
- Ensure payment is collected before all credit card orders are shipped. No payment, No ship
- Ensure credit amount is available before net term orders are shipped
- Monitor emails in orders/support/sales and respond same day
- Resolve issues/complaints from customers or sales team via phone/email
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse team to maintain stock accuracy on ADS & online store
- Collaborate with other department or person in charge to resolve any shipping-related issues
- Keep up with latest shipping policies, price changes and marketing programs, etc.
- Manage company shipper accounts, print shipping labels and distribute sample packages to reps & customers when needed
- Optimize shipping processes and identify areas for improvement
- Company paid trips to warehouses/trade shows etc when needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
