Oracle ERP Project Manager

In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for steering complex Oracle ERP projects to successful completion, from inception to delivery, while ensuring maximum value is delivered to the business. Project Duration: Contract with possibility of extension (6 Months)

Location: Must reside in or within a reasonable commute at either of the following locations (Lakeland, FL or Atlanta, GA or Orlando, FL)

Rate: 70-90/hr

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Project Leadership: Lead and manage high-impact ERP projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget, scope, and timeline. Drive planning, execution, and closure of projects with a focus on achieving business value and operational excellence.
• Oracle ERP Expertise: Spearhead the implementation, integration, and optimization of Oracle ERP solutions (Financials, Supply Chain, HRMS). Provide deep technical guidance on system customizations, upgrades, and configurations, ensuring seamless business process alignment.
• Data Management Excellence: Oversee data integration, migration, and governance strategies, ensuring data integrity, security, and alignment with enterprise-wide business needs.
• Financial and Resource Stewardship: Manage multi-million-dollar project budgets, ensuring resource allocation and spending are optimized for maximum impact. Continuously monitor project costs to maintain financial efficiency.
• Jira for Agile Excellence: Leverage Jira for project tracking, issue management, and reporting. Design and implement customized workflows to ensure smooth task tracking, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management: Ensure that all deliverables meet rigorous functional, technical, and business requirements. Proactively manage risks and resolve issues to prevent project delays or budget overruns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or MBA a plus).
• 7 years of proven experience leading large-scale Oracle ERP implementations with a focus on process optimization and business transformation.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle ERP modules and hands-on experience with system upgrades, migrations, and customizations.
• Expertise in data governance, integration, and migration strategies for enterprise-level projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Jira, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies and project management best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive stakeholders, technical teams, and business leaders.
• PMP or similar project management certifications preferred
