Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- · Backup Support for Inside Sales Team
- · Manage Assigned House Accounts
- · Sage System Management:
- · Data entry
- · Add/remove items in orders
- · Update shipping details (e.g., address, shipping method, ship date, cancel date, backorders)
- · Verify payment methods per order (e.g., credit card, wire transfer)
- · Confirm promotional order types
- · Release orders
- · Follow up on orders to ensure they are ready and invoiced. Provide Tracking information.
- · Edit customer information and add important documents/notes to customer profiles
- · Phone Support – Answer incoming calls and assist customers
- · Returns Management – manage return claims:
- Complete claim forms, and gather supporting documents
- · Shipment Coordination:
- Schedule LTL shipments and obtain quotes
- Process shipment labels (UPS, FedEx, etc.)
- · Will Call Assistance:
- Release orders to in-person client, process invoices, charge credit cards
- · Report Navigation:
- · Update reports, marketing, inventory, sales
- Package receiving and scanning
Requirements
- · High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
- · Bilingual: Spanish, able to read, write and speak
- · Excel, Power Point, Word experience
- · Customer Service experience in an office setting 1 years
· Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
· Demonstrated ability to handle customer calls displaying good phone skills
· Track record of serving others and putting team goals first
· Owners mindset; takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibility
· Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office *
- Working Knowledge of UPS, Fedex or USPS Software
