First Star Safety is over two years into implementing Deltek / ComputerEase, with payroll and timekeeping fully live as of January 1. We are seeking a seasoned ComputerEase Consultant to assist with finalizing implementation and optimization across accounting, payroll, inventory, and project management modules.

Engagement Summary:

This is a consulting role that requires deep expertise in ComputerEase and proven experience optimizing the system for construction or safety-related businesses. The consultant will evaluate current setup, recommend improvements, and lead configuration, training, and change management to ensure long-term adoption and success.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate current ComputerEase configuration and data across all live and pending modules
• Finalize and optimize the implementation of accounting, payroll, inventory, and project management tools
• Conduct gap analysis and process mapping with internal stakeholders
• Customize reporting, chart of accounts, workflows, and job costing structure
• Provide targeted staff training and documentation to improve internal system use
• Collaborate with leadership to establish system best practices
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate directly with Deltek support when needed
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience implementing or optimizing ComputerEase / Deltek for construction or service-oriented companies
• In-depth knowledge of accounting, payroll, inventory, and project management modules within ComputerEase
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in process improvement and change management
• Ability to train and support both technical and non-technical users
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional projects
  
  

Engagement Type: Contract / Consultant (on-site and/or remote based on need)

Duration: Estimated 6 months with possibility of extension based on progress and alignment

Start Date: ASAP
