MORTGAGE PROCESSOR
FIRST STATE BANK AND TRUST

A Mortgage Processor is a critical member of our Mortgage Team and is responsible for processing mortgage loan applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate, and maintaining compliance with banking regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review all necessary mortgage documents, including loan applications, disclosures, and closing documents.
- Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors to gather the required information and resolve any discrepancies.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of all documentation. Ensure all documents meet legal and regulatory requirements, including those related to appraisals, title commitments, and insurance.
- Input and update loan information in the bank's processing system.
- Communicate with customers to collect additional information and provide updates on the loan status.
- Maintain organized and accurate loan files, tracking the status of documents and ensuring timely processing.
