As a Teller Supervisor, you'll be an essential part of our team. The Teller Supervisor position is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the teller line. This key position is also responsible for providing quality customer service by making sure the teller team accurately processes transactions in a professional and courteous manner while adhering to bank and regulatory policy and procedure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily operations of the teller staff, ensuring efficient and accurate customer service.
- Recruit, hire, oversee, and train branch teller staff.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all bank policies and procedures, ensuring operational integrity and compliance for the entire teller staff, and managing operational responsibilities such as the vault cash and ATM.
- Handle escalated customer issues and resolve them promptly.
- Conduct routine transactions within established guidelines, including cashing checks, accepting deposits, processing withdrawals, and handling loan payments.
- Provide great customer service, including greeting customers warmly and professionally, actively listening to customer needs and address inquiries promptly, and handling customer complaints or concerns with empathy and efficiency.
- Educate customers about our products and services, including savings accounts, loans, and credit cards. Cross-sell relevant banking products based on customer profiles.
- Safeguard customers' personal information and maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the bank.
- Remain alert to potential fraud and take necessary precautions.
