First State Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst at the Baxter location. If you have experience with underwriting, evaluating and monitoring commercial loan transactions this may be a good fit for you!
40 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Credit Analyst will perform all duties required of this position by following policies and procedures set forth by First State Bank, including, but not limited to:
- Spread and analyze corporate and individual financial statements and tax returns.
- Underwrite new and renewal commercial loans and non-loan credit exposure, resulting in relevant and sound credit recommendations.
- Serve as relationship manager for commercial lending relationships assigned. This will involve handling the day-to-day needs of assigned clients, as well as preparing and presenting loan write-ups for their ongoing financing needs.
- Assist the loan officers in the preparation of the various loan write-ups on an as-needed basis.
- Assist the commercial lenders in obtaining updated financial information for the credit files.
- Perform ongoing analysis of customers’ financial performance and completion of annual credit relationship reviews.
- Monitor and maintain covenant, borrowing base and financial reporting requirements. Communicate results to appropriate associates and obtain approvals as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Loan Policy, Lending Guidelines and banking laws and regulations.
- Respond to inquiries from business unit associates regarding workflow and structuring of new requests.
- Complete all required compliance training and comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Act, as well as regulations which apply within the scope of the position.
- Assist with special projects and management reports.
Qualifications:
- One to three years related experience and/or training required.
- Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University preferred.
