Summary:
This position provides support to customers and fellow staff, on digital products as well as performing other duties associated with the department of Deposit Operations. Duties include but are not limited to: providing support to customers and other bank staff regarding digital services, data entry for debit cards and online banking, quality control verification, some customer and deposit maintenance, and Instant Issue debit card printing. Applicant should be comfortable with technology and willing to learning and utilize new products and services. Customer service experience is preferred.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for data integrity of the banks electronic systems.
- Provide high quality customer service.
- Take ownership for the resolution of customer issues and respond to customers in a timely manner.
- Participate in the development of policies, procedures and processes.
- Provides debit card support and customer inquiries, card ordering, and file maintenance as required.
- Provides daily monitoring of various online banking reports.
- Assist branches with Instant Issue debit card production.
- Serves as an escalated team, to help with customer support with our online banking and debit card products.
- Performs other maintenance functions, relating to the Deposit Operations Department.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be detail oriented and possess verbal and numeric aptitudes and strong customer service skills.
- Must be able to communicate clearly on the telephone.
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel preferred.
- Knowledge of Jack Henry systems a plus.
- Basic understanding of the banking industry and digital banking products & services preferred.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1. Customer and Personal Service -- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
2. English Language -- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
3. Mathematics -- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
4. Good customer service skills.
5. Detail oriented/high level of accuracy.
6. Able to work with minimal supervision.
7. Comfortable with technology.
8. Available to work some Saturdays.
