Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Investment Advisor to focus on selling Wealth Management and Trust services. In addition this person will manage relationships for customers including helping to oversee their investment portfolios.
To be a successful Investment Advisor you must be able to work efficiently and effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Successful candidate should have experience in selling financial services or investment services.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selling various Wealth Management and Trust services with particular emphasis on managed money accounts (investment management agencies and trust accounts).
- Maintaining new and existing customer relationships, including informing customers of market conditions and meeting with them to discuss their portfolio performance.
- Evaluating the performance of investment portfolios and ensuring compliance with review standards provided by regulatory organizations.
- Staying current with relevant investment and financial market news, and economic trends.
- Committed to ongoing professional development and education.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business, economics, or finance preferred.
- Professional certifications preferred.
- Two or more years experience in selling financial/investment services preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Team player with positive attitude.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Customer and Personal Service -- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- English Language -- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Mathematics -- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra and their applications.
