Role Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Chief Credit Officer, the Senior Credit Analyst works directly with the business banking department at First State Bank to prepare routine financial spreads and analyze business loan requests to provide thorough and objective credit presentations to the loan officer responsible for the credit and/or further loan committees as requested.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
- 6-7 years banking experience, preferably as a credit analyst.
- Knowledge of the commercial lending process.
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, problem-solving skills, verbal communication skills.
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills.
- Able to work in accordance with strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of compliance, regulations and bank policy.
- Effective verbal communication skills as evidenced by conversations with co-workers and customers.
