OVERVIEW:
- First State Brewing Company is an award winning Brewery, Taproom Kitchen
- We’re seeking passionate humans to join our Kitchen team.
- Support Kitchen and Taproom teams with expediting dishes to help maximize guest experience
- Currently hiring for full-time and part-time positions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure orders are being prepared with the correct priority
- Inspect the quality of the dishes served, including accuracy, presentation, and temperature
- Perform final preparation of dishes, including garnishes, sauces, etc.
- Mediate communication and transfer information between FoH and BoH team members, such as when a guest has an allergy or special request
- Provide exceptional knowledge of food menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods
- Maintain a clean work area and participate in routine Kitchen cleaning and sanitization
- Restock supplies as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One (1) year expediting/expo experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Good attitude and a strong work ethic
- Strong desire to increase restaurant knowledge and experience
- Strives for constant and never-ending improvement
- Maintain ServSafe Food Handler certification or obtain within 30 days of employment
- Ability to work days, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to periodically lift 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Be a good human
