We are a growing insurance and financial services organization serving most states across the nation. Our home office is in Farmington, MO with numerous locations throughout Missouri.

First State Insurance Agency is looking for driven and resourceful candidates to fill the role of Personal Lines Customer Service Representative. A successful Customer Service Representative will be a solution-oriented individual with demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a strong customer service focus.
Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values
Professionalism
- Engage with customers, colleagues and supervisors on the phone and in person with a high level of professionalism and respect
- Maintain confidentiality in all dealings with clients and within the agency
Accountability
- Review all activities/follow-ups daily and check all changes for accuracy
- Review/Process all assigned documents within the prescribes processing times
Initiative
- Prepare “Renewal Information” for producers and account manager on a timely basis (30 days prior to renewal)
- Maintain accurate contact information for each client in management system
Adaptability
- Prepares policy change requests online using email from AMS and create activity/follow-up
- Works with Account Manager & Senior Account Manager in reviewing and updating all monthly reports distributed by accounting

Qualifications
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills
- Must possess and maintain the appropriate insurance license
- 1 to 2 years industry specific experience preferred
- Strong sense of punctuality & attendance
- High school diploma/GED
- Must obtain and maintain professional designation relevant to the role
