Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment for their class, promoting their social, emotional, and intellectual development. This role requires creativity, patience, and a strong commitment to the growth of each student. Must have availability of 6:30 am - 5:45 pm, Monday - Friday.
Duties
- Implement age appropriate lesson plans and communicate to parents what their children are learning and working on daily.
- Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori principles, to enhance literacy education and childhood development.
- Facilitate early intervention strategies for students who may require additional support in their learning journey.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to share best practices and improve instructional strategies within the school community.
Qualifications
- High school Diploma required, further education in Early Childhood preferred. CDA would be the best.
- Experience in daycare or childcare settings is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of literacy education techniques and childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A genuine passion for teaching young children and helping them achieve their full potential.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
