Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to patients in day to day activities
- Ensure patients receive their proper medication in a timely manner
- Communicate with medical professionals about patients health or issues that may arise
- Prepare and administer meals in accordance with dietary needs
- Assist clients with basic needs such as meal prep, dressing, grooming, bathing, laundry services, and housekeeping
- Provide clients with companionship and friendly, positive interactions
- Transport clients to appointments, including doctor’s appointments or salon appointment
- Excellent listener and an empathetic companion
- Prior experience as a caregiver and elderly care
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain empathetic to patient needs
- High attention to detail
- CPR/ First Aid Certified
