What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable/Administrative Assistant position at First Step Recovery?
First Step Recovery is currently hiring a Full-time Accounts Payable/ Administrative Assistant. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Pre-employment Drug Screen and BCI/FBI Background check are required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Experience with Accounts Payable required.
· Greets the public while maintaining security and confidentiality.
· Answer agency telephones, screen calls and transfer to appropriate persons.
· Data entry and typing as directed by supervisor.
· Performs other clerical duties including copying, faxing and mailing as assigned.
· Ability to utilize electronic medical record.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
· Must possess secretarial skills which include typing 50 words per minute.
· Must have good organizational communication and language skills.
· Must possess general computer knowledge and general office equipment familiarity.
· Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people.
· Demonstrates the ability to effectively function as a team member.
· Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently.
