Currently seeking a Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) practitioner to join our team of therapy professionals at a new PPEC in Melbourne, Florida.
Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) is a medical daycare for children with complex medical needs.

Sign-on bonus available for therapists with 1 year of experience.
We provide services to clients from 0-21 years old and early intervention services to clients 0-3 years old.
Job Summary
The Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for treatment of medically prescribed therapy services, in order to achieve maximum developmental potential, functional gains and independence. The OTA must be able to work independently, as well as, in teams and make appropriate decisions based on each patient‘s functional needs. Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Maintain good client relations with facilities and their staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Follows patient's treatment goals
- Discusses treatment plan with patient to establish expectations and communicates treatment plan with support staff
- Provide occupational therapy services (treatment) to the patients.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Florida Occupational Therapist Assistant license
- Strong Manual Therapy Skill
- Ability to physically assist patients in performing functional tasks and therapeutic exercises
- Level II finger printing background
- CPR
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
