Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT)
Currently seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant practitioner to join our team of therapy professionals at our Kissimmee Clinic!!!
FULL-TIME POSITION AVAILABLE!!!
Paid training provided for new therapists.
Sign-on bonus available for therapists with 1 year of experience.
We provide services to clients from 0-21 years old and early intervention services to clients 0-3 years old.
Job Summary
The Physical Therapist is assistant is responsible for treatment of medically prescribed therapy services, in order to achieve maximum developmental potential, functional gains and independence. The physical therapist must be able to work independently, as well as, in teams and make appropriate decisions based on each patient‘s functional needs. Maintains positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Maintain good client relations with facilities and their staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Follows patient's treatment goals, and revision of treatment plan when indicated.
- Discusses treatment plan with patient to establish expectations and communicates treatment plan with support staff.
- Establish treatment plans for physical therapist assistants
- Provide physical therapy services (treatment) to the patients.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Strong Manual Therapy Skills
- Pediatric assessments
- Ability to physically assist patients in performing functional tasks and therapeutic exercises
- Level II finger printing background
- CPR
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
