Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor located in El Dorado Hills. We are looking for day and evening shifts. Day typically 8:30 am to 5:00pm and evening shift is 1 pm to 9 pm. The SUD Counselor will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling services, developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and managing case files. The SUD Counselor will work with clients to develop coping skills, relapse prevention strategies, and provide support through the recovery process. Additionally, the SUD Counselor will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications
- Experience in individual and group counseling
- Skills in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Ability to conduct assessments and manage case files
- Knowledge of relapse prevention strategies and coping skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of trauma-informed care and dual diagnosis
- Relevant registration or certification as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Experience working with veterans and first responders is a plus
