Under direct supervision, the Compensation & Retirement Coordinator is responsible for assisting with day-to-day administration and functions within the Compensation and Retirement teams.
Major Responsibilities
- Support the Retirement team with various daily assigned tasks such as: running delivered reports in both Workday payroll and the retirement recordkeeping system(s); completing general system entry and performing regular plan audits
- Performing basic calculations and documenting contributions to external recordkeepers.
- Monitoring, researching, and responding to employee inquiries via phone and email; receiving, researching and preparing documentation for death claims; referring participants to 3rd party vendors for QDRO claims.
- Preparing mailings related to blackouts, participant loan delinquencies or other written communications.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions through phone or email
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience or Skills Required
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 years in an administrative support role
- Experience in a compensation, benefits and/or payroll environment a plus.
- Self-motivated individual with great initiative and ability to work independently.
- Ability to interact with a host of different personalities.
- Highly organized, detail orientated and capable of multi-tasking.
- Ability to take ownership and be accountable for issue resolution and general customer satisfaction.
