About the DoD SkillBridge Internship Technician Role:
As an intern, you’ll work closely with skilled technicians, learning to maintain and repair our fleet of school buses and vehicles. With direct supervision, your responsibilities include:
- Performing maintenance on vehicle systems such as brakes, drivetrains, and transmissions
- Troubleshooting issues and completing work orders
- Assisting with emergency mobile services when needed
- Participating in cross-functional meetings and hands-on projects to develop your expertise
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience while helping you transition smoothly from military to civilian life.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be an active-duty DoD service member in good standing and participating in the SkillBridge program
- Within the last 180 days of your service contract, with commanding officer approval to participate
