About the Role
We are seeking an experienced mechanic to join our shop serving Granite City School District. As a technician at First Student, your day will include performing maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, & transmissions, completing work orders, and assisting with mobile emergency services.
Mechanics and technicians are subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee.
Salary and Benefits
- We offer a competitive salary of $28-$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- ASE incentive of $0.25/hour for each relevant ASE obtained (we pay for the training materials and exams).
