We're now hiring a skilled Diesel and Gas Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles. As part of our team, you'll contribute to creating a safe and reliable transportation experience for millions of students and passengers daily.
The hourly wage for this role is $29.87, with additional compensation for ASE certifications. A sign-on bonus of $7,500* is also available, along with company-paid ASE testing and training materials.
This full-time position features a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with consistent year-round work. About the Position:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.
- Diagnose and address any issues with brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure work orders are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Support mobile emergency services as needed.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required; willingness to obtain a CDL while employed is expected.
- At least 5 years of experience in diesel maintenance and repair, or equivalent technical education and automotive experience.
- A comprehensive toolkit is essential for this role.
- Participation in the ASE certification program is encouraged, with training, testing, and bonuses provided.
