What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety and Maintenance Technician position at First Student?

Compensation
We offer a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $25 to $28, based on experience and qualifications. Our technicians also receive an ASE incentive of $0.25/hour for each relevant ASE obtained.
Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues on our fleet of vehicles. Your tasks will include:
- Performing maintenance on brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
- Completing work orders
- Assisting with mobile emergency services
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3 years of experience working with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
- A valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL (training provided)
- A mechanic's tool set
