Job Summary
This role involves scheduling and performing school bus fleet maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting complex problems, and maintaining service records as a Lead Fleet Technician / Shop Foreman.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of skilled technicians.
- Manage work orders and ensure timely completion.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle technology and components to deliver exceptional maintenance and repair services.
- Optimize shop operations and implement improvements as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required; willingness to obtain CDL while employed - We train.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive or diesel maintenance & repair, or equivalent technical school education.
- Previous experience in leadership roles is an asset.
- Must have a comprehensive mechanic's tool set.
- Commitment to participating in ASE certification program.
- Adherence to DOT regulations regarding substance abuse.
