Transportation Maintenance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements. They will also diagnose and repair complex issues with vehicles, including electrical systems and engine problems. Additionally, they will ensure that all work orders are completed accurately and assist with mobile emergency services as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain CDL within six months of hire
• 1-3 years of experience in automotive or diesel maintenance & repair, or equivalent technical school education
• Possession of a mechanic's tool set
• Ability to participate in ASE certification program and willingness to undergo training and testing
• Passing of DOT drug test and physical examination

Compensation and Benefits:

• $24-$29 per hour based on experience and qualifications
• Addition $0.25 per hour for each ASE certification obtained
