Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers at the sales counter in a friendly and professional manner
- Accept payment for merchandise either handling cash or ensuring that an approved credit line is available
- Assist customers by recommending new products, suggesting alternatives, and promoting our Company
- Assist “Counter Day” participants to assure successful promotions
- Promote and sell overages, damaged and discontinued items
- Maintain a clean and organized sales counter and work area
- Support promotional activities, sales events, and special offers
- Maintain good housekeeping in counter and display areas
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking and organizing products
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Good computer knowledge and skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions
- Functional capacities evaluation which demonstrates ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position
