What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit Support Senior Specialist (HYBRID) position at First Technology Federal Credit Union?
The Audit Support Senior Specialist manages the administrative needs the Internal Audit Department and coordinates the logistical needs for the Supervisory Committee, co-sourced audit firms, regulators, external auditors and examiners and others who conduct audit/exam related activities at or on behalf of the credit union.
Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:
Job Duties:
- Coordinate all aspects of Supervisory Committee meetings including set-up, travel and required documentation of meetings, including communication with outside auditors and regulatory examiners
- Assemble Supervisory Committee meeting packets and distribute
- Provide administrative support including preparing audit communication meeting minutes, reports, letters and email correspondence
- Managing the Audit software and coordinating audit projects including managing request lists from outside auditors and regulatory examiners, tracking submissions and deadlines, scheduling entrance and exit meetings for audits, and administering all aspects of audit program logistics
- Assist with audit reports by tracking management responses, providing status updates, communicating with auditee, and managing data requests to executive management and business unit owners
- Post reports, minutes, and other key documents to the Board Portal software
- Conduct research and prepare departmental reports
- Interface with high level internal/external stakeholders requiring considerable discretion and initiative
Essential Skills:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an executive or senior administrative assistant with background in meeting and administrative project logistical support in a mid-to-large size organization; preferably in the financial services industry
- Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences
- Ability to operate as a self-starter who is highly organized and works well independently or within a team environment
- Proven sound judgment, work ethic, and professional integrity with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency with audio visual meeting technology is preferred
- Familiarity with audit administration software is preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 (HYBRID)
Target Compensation: $67,000 to $74,000 annually annual bonus
