Our team is expanding! First Tech is currently seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our HR team.  In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in refining, analyzing, and overseeing the various compensation programs at First Tech. As the administrator of the annual merit cycle, incentive plans, and overall compensation programs, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining of First Tech’s compensation programs. 
 
Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful: 
 
Job Duties:
 
  • Follow current compensation practices to compensation strategy, present recommendations to HR senior leadership
  • Assist the Human Resources (HR) team and business leadership to execute their decision making for hiring, promotions, specific organizational initiatives, and annual compensation programs 
  • Track and monitor variable compensation plans including compliance/adherence to compensation philosophy and strategy
  • Facilitate the creation, development, implementation, documentation, communication, and administration of all variable pay plans, quota, credits, and policies
  • Analyze compensation data and create ad-hoc reports as needed
  • Follow and document compensation best practices and processes
  • Conduct research and analyze data to drive strategic decisions around people 
  • Respond to inquiries from sales and/or cross-functional teams in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with HR partners to drive on-going process improvement
  • Be a resource for compensation for Recruiters, human resources professionals and managers to promote understanding and transparency 
  • Identify relevant market data trends regarding compensation
  • Partner with HRBPs to manage job descriptions, while also being thoughtful of company standards; maintain job description library
  • Price jobs, evaluate internal equity and complete salary survey activities, including survey results analysis
  • Track and monitor other employee rewards programs
Essential Skills:
 
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, other related fields of study or two years of Compensation specific (analysis of compensation programs such as salaries, short-and long-term incentive plans, salary increases, and various reward programs) 
  • Ability to administer organization-wide variable pay practices (i.e., merit, incentive/commission programs and budgeting)
  • Experience reviewing and monitoring employee pay
  • Competency with administration of variable pay plans
  • Familiarity with salary survey processes and compensation data
  • Ability to provide compensation insights through presentations, reports, and analyses
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and ability to multi-task with moderate supervision
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high volume peaks while producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills and ability to collaborate with internal/external partners
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, intermediate Microsoft Word skills and experience with enterprise HRIS/HRMS
  • Certification/License: CCP preferred
Location:  Hillsboro Corporate Office – Hillsboro, OR
 
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR:   $65,000 to $78,000 annually annual bonus
