What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAM Operations Associate position at First Technology Federal Credit Union?
The Associate, SAM Operations supports the Collections, Servicing and Liquidation teams through research, processing requests/transactions and coordination of department communications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform account maintenance requests (including account closing, charge-offs and status changes)
- Process monetary transactions (including account overrides, check cashing and money transfers)
- Coordinate the processing and delivery of all incoming and outgoing department communications
- Identify gaps in department processes and procedures, recommending improvements to leadership
- Assist leadership with research requests and special projects
- Assist with the facilitation of department supply and equipment requests, as required
Experience and Education Requirement:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma
- Minimum one year experience in an administrative role, preferably in the financial services industry
- Demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to anticipate needs and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while producing high-quality work
- Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences
- Proven ability to professionally handle sensitive documents
- Strong research, analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills with an excellent attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of the financial industry operating areas including functions, products & services is preferred
- Familiarly with a core banking system is preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $19.00 - $22.50 per hour annual bonus
