Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, proactive, and highly organized Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support both the Executive Director and Program Director by managing a wide range of administrative, marketing, and development tasks. This role requires someone who is a natural problem-solver, can work independently or as part of a team, and thrives in a mission-driven, youth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management & Organization
- Maintain and update contact databases and donor records
- Manage digital files and assist with tracking participation and fundraising metrics
- Communications & Marketing
- Draft and distribute weekly newsletters using email marketing platforms
- Create and schedule engaging content for social media and email outreach
- Design flyers, graphics, and promotional materials in Canva
- Assist with content creation and updates for the website and digital platforms
- Fundraising Support
- Provide administrative support for campaigns and donor communications
- Support peer-to-peer fundraising and sponsor stewardship initiatives
- Assist with donor acknowledgment and data entry
- Technology & Scheduling
- Utilize Google Calendar to coordinate meetings and events
- Create forms and surveys using Google Forms
- (Bonus) Familiarity with Zapier for automating workflows and improving efficiency
Qualifications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Comfortable with Google Workspace (Calendar, Docs, Forms)
- Experienced with Canva or other graphic design tools
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work independently
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn Zapier and other productivity platforms
- Friendly, dependable, and motivated by First Tee – Augusta’s mission
Preferred Experience
- Non-profit or youth development background
- Prior work in communications, marketing, or fundraising
- Experience working with donor management systems or CRM tools
Work Environment
- On-site at First Tee – Augusta facility
- Small, supportive team environment
- Directly reports to Executive Director and Program Director
