Position Summary
The Manager of Partnership Sales is a pivotal role responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of strategic partnerships and sponsorships for Spartan Race events. This position requires a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a proven track record of identifying, prospecting, and closing new partnership opportunities. The successful candidate will be a skilled relationship builder, strategic thinker, and adept negotiator.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership sales strategy to identify and secure new partnerships and sponsorships for Spartan Race events.
- Build and nurture a pipeline of potential partners, conducting thorough research and analysis to identify strategic opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand partner needs and objectives, developing customized proposals and pitches that align with partner goals.
- Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach and prospecting to negotiation, contract finalization, and onboarding.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at potential partner organizations, effectively communicating Spartan's value proposition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and fulfillment of partner commitments.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential partners, showcasing the benefits of partnership with Spartan Race.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, terms, and pricing to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market insights to inform partnership strategies and recommendations.
- Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to track progress and drive accountability.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and identify new business opportunities.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and innovation within the partnership sales team.
