Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sports Management, Business Administration, Marketing or Communications.
- 5 or more years of experience of Program Evaluation
- Highly motivated, self-starter and willingness to take an active leadership role
- Efficiency, multi-tasking and time management
- Ability to work and communicate in a team atmosphere
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Open to giving and receiving feedback for improvement and development
- Positive attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Fiscally responsible and proactive as it relates to managing expenses
- Youth development or junior golf coaching/instruction experience a plus
- MS Office, Salesforce, SM Apply experience a plus
- Knowledge of and/or exposure to First Tee is preferred
- Travel is required for this position
- Lead and manage Chapter Program Observation initiative and strategic goal of conducting 10-15 per year, including scheduling and conducting observations, the tracking of feedback and reports, and the coordination of follow-up with Chapters to monitor implementation.
- Support Coach Program as a Trainer to stay connected to coaching strategies and behaviors when conducting Chapter Program Observations.
- Support the roll out and dissemination of academic research findings and consult with chapter program leaders on program evaluation practices.
- Provide annual report on program observation trends, findings and coordinate with Program Education on gaps and needs, to support ongoing professional development for First Tee program leaders.
- Coordinate with Program Support & Data to evaluate chapter program data.
- Lead and serve on Ace evaluation committee, evaluating capstone projects submitted by First Tee participants as evidence of their engagement and achievement in the First Tee Program.
- This role requires travel with an estimated 15-20 trips per year to visit Chapters, conduct program observations, and support national coach training events.
