What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lubricant Testing Lab Aide position at First Tek, Inc.?
Responsibilities : " Wash laboratory glassware and distribute to various lab personnel " Maintain chemical inventory " Maintain supply of solvents and materials needed by scientists " Maintain inventory of basic laboratory supplies, such as paper towels, gloves, pipettes, soap, etc... " Manage the waste disposal of chemicals used within the group " Management of fleet test samples and test results " Assist with shipping and receiving of test samples " Administration of quality documentation " Work with all lab personnel to maintain an organized and safe lab environment " Follow all safety regulations and participate in safety inspections and monthly safety meetings.
Quals
Someone with lab experience would be preferred. Familiar with lab safety protocol. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures. Capable of moving and handling large containers of oil and related fluids (preferred). Ability to interact frequently with a variety of functions, such as scientists, building maintenance, shipping / receiving personnel, safety personnel. Good organizational and time-management skills. Must be comfortable using Excel, Outlook, Word, basic MicroSoft suite programs.
