First Texas Bank is seeking a dynamic Personal Banker for our Belton location.

What you will be doing: As the bank's first point of contact with consumers, you will handle deposits and withdrawals, give account information, and respond to inquiries regarding banking policies and products. You will also encourage customer interaction and aid other divisions by cross-selling clients on bank goods and services.
In addition, your main responsibilities will include:
· Greet customers in a warm and friendly manner.
· Provide teller account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, processing savings withdrawals, checking withdrawals, cash advances, cash savings bonds and process night deposits and mail deposits.
· Answer questions in person or on telephone and refers customers to other bank services as necessary.
· Maintain customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential.
· Process all daily account maintenance and review and check maintenance.
· Open new accounts, certificate of deposits and safe deposit boxes.
· Issue and maintenance debit cards.
· Rotate to other branch locations if needed.
Who will be a good fit for this role:
· Education – High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
· One year customer service experience in financial services, retail sales, or a goal- oriented environment preferred
· Previous cash handling experience
· Ability to adhere to schedule without tardiness
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
· Flexibility to work past normal business hours as necessary
· Must be able to pass a thorough background screening, including a credit check
