What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician: Central Diagnostic (CDT) - First Texas Honda position at First Texas Honda?
We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Diagnostic Technician to lead our Honda service shop as a mentor, supporting 100 bays and a skilled team of technicians. This exciting opportunity involves optimizing efficiency, maintaining high standards of quality, and contributing to the exponential growth of our expanding business. Join us in this key leadership role, where your expertise will drive growth for our technicians and contribute to the continued excellence of our production operations.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Correctly diagnose issues and fix vehicles right the first time

Required to repair vehicles when needed for shop production goals

Required to fill in as dispatch/production support/shop maintenance as needed.

Mentor and develop all technicians. Create and successfully execute technician career progressions per management’s expectations.

Safely test drive vehicles to verify any issues with a vehicle

Staying up to date on all training and certifications
-
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Positive attitude with an emphasis on customer service

Promoting a clean work environment and leaving vehicles cleaner than when they arrived

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Ability to work well in a team and maintain good working relationships

Any other duties as assigned
Hours:
-
Must have availability to work between business hours of Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 8:00 pm and Saturday from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm

This is a full-time position requiring no less than 50 hours a week.

Must be willing and available to work some weekends.
Compensation:

Base salary plus production bonuses

Estimated starting salary: $80,000
